This gaming headset also features an upgraded microphone to help you ace your games with better voice pick up and noise cancellation in loud gaming environments. The BlasterX H5 Tournament Edition is an upgrade from the BlasterX H5 with improved drivers for better sensitivity and more accurate sound reproduction. This powerful, lightweight piece of gaming gear is the real deal. Or should or would I be wise to fork out the money for GeForce 7800 XT 256 the one from Tiger direct it is AGP but the manufactures mem clock is 1.3ghz which I believe my rx800 has 560 mem clock.Performance Gaming Headset with Detachable Noise-reduction Microphone I would like to overclock it safely to improve FPS. Check this out it might be your problem.īut I have a question also for some expert opinions is that I am only getting 40 to 50 fps does anyone know the default clock frequencies on this card. I now get 40 to 50 fps in games such as BF2 and BF 2142. to find one of the First 3 updates had the fix for and I quote Fix for RX800 Grafix card not reaching 3d benchmark. I was disgusted with it, then one day I went threw every peice of HW on my Machine to find that finally there were 7 updates to my current Bios rv. Hate to butt in here, However are you using the pheonix award bios? Because I am and I had bought the Rx800 from ATI and I was only getting about 15 -20 fps also for the longest time. Since I got an extra hundred bucks now, I'm probably going to return it for an 1950 or a geforce 7600 GT or 7900. I noticed a slight decrease in performance, and along with that, besides the fact that my CPU probably is the killer here for R6 Vegas, I usually run about 40 fps w/ my x1650 in Vegas, but res is at a low 800 x 600, HDR on, blur on and set to High, and shadows set to very low and whatever skinning setting is set to on as well.Īs for Q 4, I run at 1024x768 High Quality and mostly run between 40 - 60, same w/ Doom, and NFS Carbon, I haven't checked oblivion but I'm sure there was a slight decrease as well. As for my x1650 pro it only pushed just past 2200 points when I benched it, overclocking the mem only to 960, and the core up too 675, defaults are mem = 400, core = 600. Using ATi Tray Tools, my x700 benchmarked about 2450 points, over clocking the mem past 1000 and core only about 40 more then the default speed. It is appearant that it mustn't be that great of a card. How's it going, I'm just giving my 2 cents, I just bought the x1650 pro 512 gddr2 agp, replacing my x700 pro 256 gddr3 agp only because of R6 Vegas. I'd be very happy to hear from you or post any other info you want as long as I can obtain it. If anyone has any opinions or suggestions regarding my choice in cards, OR if you think you know what might be wrong please make a post. Striped my 2 hard drives to make a 400GB partition(I wanted to play), both hard drives are on SATA 1(not sure if I should have them like my DVDs and on SATA1 and SATA2 for added speed?), Never OC'd my CPU even though it games are around 41C with no additional cooling. Some things I've probably done that are stupid heh. I've tried newest sound drivers and making sure my HDD was defragged. Long story short, Is the DDR3 in my x800 really that much better in performance than the DDR2, and I should be getting my whole 15-30 fps, or should i try and find out my other bottleneck is? Now that i have the x1650 installed(Fresh ATI Drivers and ATT) I'm noticing exactly the same framerate. I had an RX800 but it's fan died so when the 1650's came on sale($160CDN in my hands) I decided i'd buy that since I had often had problems with lower framerates than expected in certain games(World of Warcraft and NFS: Carbon for instance) and because i was sick of doing half-ass fan replacements for the x800.
